On Wednesday, candidates protested outside the Press Club in Jammu over allegations of rigging in the recruitment of 1200 posts of Sub Inspector (SI) in Jammu and Kashmir Police. The protesters raised slogans and alleged malpractices in the examination. He raised the demand for intervention of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in this matter and a high level inquiry should be conducted.The candidates said that among the candidates whose marks are between 130 to 140 in the SI exam, most of the candidates whose marks in the other examinations are between 30 and 40. In this, two candidates each from the same family have been selected. The marks of retired employees are also very high.
