J&K : In summer zone of Jammu division, private students who have passed in two or more subjects from class 10th to 12th have been promoted to the next classes. Standards have been set for this. An order to this effect has been issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. Thousands of students will benefit from this decision of the board. According to the order, if a student passes in four subjects, he will get the average marks of the two subjects with the best performance in the fifth subject.
Those who pass in three subjects will get marks in fourth subject equal to the average of marks in two best subjects. Also in the fifth subject the average marks of the two subjects with the best performance out of the four subjects will be given. The one who passes in two subjects will get the average marks of two subjects in the third subject. The average of the marks of two best out of three subjects in fourth subject and two best of four subjects in fifth subject will be given.
Examination will be conducted for those who pass in a subject and are not satisfied with the average marks. The board has declared its date. Class XII examinations will run from September 18 to October 5. The exam will start from 11 am. At the same time, the X Class examinations will also be conducted from September 19 to October 1. The first exam will be of additional subject. In the notification issued by the Joint Secretary of the examination, it has been told that all the information related to the examination will be written on the back side of the admit card.
Accordingly the students have to sit in the exam. The rules of Corona will be strictly followed in all the examination centers.
The Institute will be able to take the practical examination at its own level and date’s will be announced immediately after the declaration of result for practical of students taking vocational subject.
