Intense cold gripped Ladakh, and Kashmir Valley and a dense fog covered Jammu city on Wednesday morning.
The Meteorological (MeT) office said a clear sky with cold and dry weather would likely continue in Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
Srinagar registered minus 5.6°C, Pahalgam minus 7.4°C and Gulmarg minus 6°C degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
In the Ladakh region, Kargil had minus 11.8°C and Leh minus 13.4°C as the minimum temperature.
While Jammu had 2.7°C, Katra 6.2°C, Batote 1.5°C, Banihal 3.3°C and Bhaderwah minus 0.8°C as the minimum temperature.
