Officials claimed a vehicle they were traveling in rolled down into a gorge in the Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, injuring a man and leaving his wife unharmed.
Quoting the officials, news agency reported that the vehicle bearing registration number JK05J-3523 skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge on Srinagar-Muzafferabad road at Tyre Mode Uri, resulting in injuries to Tosief Ahmad Quraishi son of Mohammad Saleem Quraishi, a resident of Kalgi Uri. His wife travelling in the vehicle escaped unhurt, officials said.

A police team rushed to the spot and took the injured to SDH Uri. Later the injured was shifted to GMC Baramulla wherefrom he was shifted to Soura Srinagar in critical condition.
