The Kerala Police has taken custody of five youngsters hailing from Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly possessing fake gun licence.
The accused have been identified as Shoukat Ali, Shukur Ahamed, Gulsman, Mushtaq Hussain and Mohammed Javed, all natives of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir. The accused, aged between 20 and 25 years, are employees of an ATM cash filling agency in Karamana in Thiruvananthapuram.
All the accused have been working in Kerala from past six months after being recruited by an agency in Maharashtra. They were taken into custody from their rented accommodation . Five guns and 25 rounds of ammunition have also been recovered from them.
Further probe into the matter is underway.
