Continuing to expose the reluctance on the part of the officers of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in implementation of Right to Information Act, the Central Information Commission has issued show-cause notices for initiating penalty proceedings against over dozen officers including Collector, Under Secretary, Assistant Commissioner Development and others for not replying an application under RTI.
No doubts, it is an serious issue & Govt should act tough on such kind of officers for open deriliction of duties for which they are heavily paid.
