J&K Police informed that some sparks erupted from a power transformer due to which some garbage lying beneath it caught fire in Sanjay Nagar area of Jammu city on Friday evening.
As per SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, “In fire flames, something exploded which is possibly any inflammable material causing sound”. He also requested people not to pay heed to rumours.
The police team are on site for further examination.
