Today Sub district hospital Sopore, Baramulla has been dedicated as COVID hospital for district Baramulla amid rise in Covid positive cases. After Srinagar, district baramulla is having highest number of positive cases on daily basis. In view of Covid appropriate behaviour SDH Sopore has been kept exclusively for patients having covid related illness.
As per Nodal Officer Dr. Shahid Nabi, people should not feel panic unlike first and second wave it’s simple flu. People having symptoms should come here in hospital for testing, dedicated team of doctors after consultation will give them prescription and within few days they will be alright he added. He further said that their Covid team on routine bases visit banks, educational centres and other offices for sampling.
People unlike previous waves voluntarily without any kind of fear visit SDH Sopore to get tested and for Covid related treatment.
