Police on Monday said that two missing girls have been recovered and reunited with families in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that one Mohammad Hanief, resident of Channa, Reasi reported at Police Station Chassana that his 18-year old daughter is missing from home following which a case was registered and search launched.
“Enquiries from the family, relatives and friends gave sufficient clues of the missing girl and accordingly police network was activated,” he said.
The spokesman added that after meticulous track-following and consistent hectic efforts, missing girl got intercepted while on way to Kashmir.
“The girl has been reunited with the family with in four hours of reporting to Police Station,” said the spokesman.
He said that in another incident Police team traced another missing girl from Khawas area of Rajouri adjoining district Reasi and reunited her with family following a complaint was lodged by her father. The girl after completing all legal procedures, was handed over to the family.
