Increasing the use of technology and digitization, the devotee will be sent to a virtual online room through the Jio Meet app, in which he can perform special poojas and darshan of Lord Shiva.
Now devotees will be able to do darshan, worship and havan of Baba Barfani sitting at home. Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has made online arrangements for the convenience and better experience of the devotees. Devotees will also be able to order prasad online. In the holy cave, the priest will offer it in the name of the devotee. The Prasad of Bholenath will reach the door-to-door of the devotees.
CEO Nitishwar Kumar informed that the online services can be availed by linking the respective application from the official website of the Board. Devotees can join the virtual puja by paying Rs 1100. Similarly, 5 grams silver coin of Shri Amarnath ji will be available in Prasad booking for Rs 1100, 10 grams silver coin in Prasad booking for Rs 2100 and special havan or combination of Prasad and virtual worship for Rs 5100.
The Puja or Havan will be performed by the priest in the holy cave by chanting Vedic mantras, shlokas along with the name and gotra of the devotee. Using the available technology and digitization, the devotee will be sent to a virtual online room through the Jio Meet app, in which he can perform special poojas and darshan of Lord Shiva. With this, the Prasad will be delivered to the devotee’s house through the postal department within 48 hours.
After booking, the Board will share the link and date/time on the registered mobile number, e-mail ID. This portal has been developed by Shri Amarnath Shrine Board with the help of National Informatics Center J&K.
