Actor Kangana Ranaut has heaped praises on The Kashmir Files after watching the film, and claimed that the film has purged Bollywood of its ‘sins’. In a video shared by a paparazzo account, Kangana said that those in the film fraternity who are ‘hiding in holes like rats’ should step out and promote the film. Kangana also congratulated the team for making the movie. The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, features actor Anupam Kher and actor-producer Pallavi Joshi.
In the video, Kangana Ranaut told the paparazzi about The Kashmir Files team, “Unko bohut bohut badhai. Unhone poori film industry k jitne bhi Bollywood k kiye huye paap hai aaj inhone dho diye sabne milke. Bollywood k bhi paap dho diye inhone (Many congratulations to them. Together they have purged the film industry of all their sins. They have also washed away the sins committed by Bollywood).”
The actor continued, “Itni acchi film banaiyi hai. Yeh film itni kabile tarif hai ki sab industry waalo ko chupe huye hai abhi apne bilo m chuho ki tarah nikal k aana chahiye isko promote karna chahiye. Itni bakwas sari huyi filmein promote karte hai. Itni acchi filmo ko promote karna chahiye (They have made such a great film. This film is so commendable that those in the industry who are hiding like rats in their holes should come out and promote the film. They keep on promoting such worthless films. They must promote such a good film).”
This is not the first time that Kangana has praised The Kashmir Files and slammed the film industry. Last week, Kangana had shared a note on her Instagram Stories about the film.
“Please notice the pin-drop silence in the film industry about #thekashmirfiles not just content even its business is exemplary… investment and profit proportion might be such a case study that it will be the most successful and profitable film of the year. It also broke many myths about theatres being exclusive for big budgets event films or visual/VFX spectacles post-pandemic, it is breaking every myth and preconceived notion that was there and bringing back the audiences to the theatres, 6 am shows in multiplexes are full it’s unbelievable!!!” she had said.
She had also said, “Bullydawood aur unke chamche sadme mein chale gaye hai. Not a word sari duniya dekh rahi hai inko lekin phir bhi not a word (Bollywood bullies and their cronies are in shock. The whole world is watching but not them). Their time is upp!!” Bullydawood is a term she uses for Bollywood.
Meanwhile, Kangana will soon be seen in movies including Tejas, Dhaakad, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda, Emergency, and The Incarnation: Sita. She is also producing the upcoming film Tiku Weds Sheru under her production house, Manikarnika Films. Currently, she is hosting the OTT reality show Lock Upp.
