On the occasion of Army Day and with an aim to educate, spread awareness and motivate the youth to take up Armed Forces as a profession, the Indian Army organised a lecture on Know Your Army at Padhyarna, Sondra, Cherji, Malar and Pinjrar regions of Kishtwar district.
The lecture encompasses on encouraging the locals, especially youth and providing them detailed information about Army. The youth were informed about the enrollment procedure through different types of entries, briefed about the various opportunities available for them to join the Indian Army and also info them how army is facilitating them in normal day to day life. A total of 70 youth attended the lecture and all protocols and prevention against COVID-19 were followed during the event.
The event was a unique, unforgettable and motivational experience for the youth and general public. The lecture was an effort to intrigue the senses of our youngsters and motivate them to join Indian Army.
