ndia has reported 975 new Covid-19 cases and 4 deaths in the last 24 hours, a bulletin released by the Union health ministry on Saturday stated.
India’s active caseload stands at 11,366 at present. Active cases currently constitutes 0.03% of the total cases in the country.
The recovery rate has been recorded at 98.76%, the ministry data showed.
With 796 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of patients who have recovered from the disease so far has reached 4,25,07,834, the government said.
With the daily positivity rate at present now is 0.32%, the weekly positivity rate stands at 0.26%.
Also, a total of 83.14 crore tests for Covid detection have been conducted so far in India, with 3,00,918 having been conducted in the last 24 hours.
A total of 186.38 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the nation so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
