Today , a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme was organised by 177BN CRPF At Khushal Stadium , Tulibal , Sopore in which Doctors of CRPF and SDH Sopore provided free Medical Check Up And Consultations to needy people besides free medicines, immunity boosting supplements, etc were also distributed to the locals of the nearby areas.
The programme was organized under the aegis of Sh. Manish Sharma, Commandant-177 Bn CRPF in Presence of Sh. Ravi Kumar, 2nd-In-Command, Sh. Shiji V.S, Dy, Comdt , Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Saroj and Sh. Avinash Bhushan, Asst.Comdt.
The main objective of organizing the free medical camp under Civic Action Programme was to provide free medical checkups, consultation by well experienced Doctors to needy people of the nearby areas besides distribution of free medicines, immunity boosting supplements, especially to women, children and immune compromised people of the area who are not able to see the doctors frequently, due to remotely located or other financial issues.
While addressing to the beneficiaries & the visitors, Sh. Manish Sharma, Commandant-177 Bn CRPF said that 177 Bn CRPF has been conducting such programmes in recent past also during covid pendamic in which food items, free medicines, immunity boosters, and other essential commodities were distributed among the needy locals of Tulibal, PD sopore and is committed to organize such programmes in the area of Sopore in near future as well. Sh. Manish Sharma, Commandant-177 Bn CRPF also assured the beneficiaries and the general public to provide for all possible help whenever and wherever required. The Officer while thanking to all the beneficiaries and the visitors wished for the peace, prosperity and development of Kashmiris and seeking cooperation and coordination from general public to solidify the relation between the Security Forces and the general public.
The locals after getting free medical checkups and consulted by the Unit Doctors and free medicines & other items, warmly thanked the CRPF & lauded the matchless efforts made for welfare of local public.
