Kulgam Police continuing unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society, arrested one more Drug Peddler and recovered huge quantity of contraband substances on Friday.
Police said in a statement that on a specific information from reliable sources, a team of officers of PS Qazigund raided the suspected place (residential house) at Nussu Badragund Qazigund and recovered Poppy Straw (Fukki) like substance weighing 100 kg from the possession of a notorious drug peddler.
He has been identifies as Mohd Amir Ganie S/O Mohd Ahsan Ganie R/O Nussu Badragund Qazigund. The accused was arrested, and regarding the incident Case with FIR No 278\2021 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Qazigund and investigation is in progress.
