Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University Prof. Umesh Rai received a copy of the book ‘Pen Stand’ written by columnist, journalist & heritage conservationist Dr. Satwant Singh Rissam. Dr Satwant met the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University in his office and presented his very recently released book to him. The Vice-Chancellor commended Dr. Satwant for his notable efforts in bringing out the book. The Vice-Chancellor was extremely glad to know Dr. Rissam is an alumnus of this prestigious University and hoped he will achieve more heights in days to come. The book ‘Pen Stand’ is a collection of 101 articles written by Dr. Rissam between 2011 and 2021 which have appeared in the columns of leading newspapers and various news media platforms of J&K.
