Suchana Seth, the 39-year-old founder and CEO of Mindful AI Lab, a Bengaluru-based startup, has been charged with the murder of her four-year-old son in a service apartment in Candolim, North Goa. The shocking incident unfolded when a member of the housekeeping staff discovered a bloodstain in the apartment, prompting an investigation. Suchana had checked out on Monday morning, and the Goa Police alerted Karnataka authorities. She was detained in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district while attempting
to travel back to Bengaluru with her son’s body in a bag, according to a Times of India report.
A police official said that Suchana had provided a Bengaluru address when checking into a hotel in Candolim, Goa. When a bloodstain was discovered, the police reviewed CCTV footage, indicating Suchana leaving the service apartment alone. When questioned, she claimed to have left her son at a friend’s house in Fatorda, providing fake details when asked for the friend’s address.
