To provide a helping hand to patients in critical times, the Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather Friday inaugurated a critical care ambulance service in Mubarak Hospital, Hyderpora Bypass Srinagar.
The Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance was donated by Ahmad and Haris Charitable Trust headed by former J&K Bank Chairman Mohammad Yusuf Khan.
Besides Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, head of A&H Charitable Trust M Yusuf Khan, the event was joined by former Secretary Education G A Peer, Owner Mubarak Hospital Dr Niyaz Ahmad Jan and other officials of the health department and staff members of Mubarak Hospital.
Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather while inaugurating the Critical Care Ambulance, lauded the efforts of A&H Charitable Trust who put forth this endeavour in minimizing the pain of people in need.
He hailed the role of the administration of Mubarak Hospital at the occasion and emphasized upon them to work vigorously in the health sector and provide a helping hand to critical patients. “There are several means to serve society.
However, in terms of providing medical help to needful patients is praiseworthy”, Dr Mushtaq said. He added the Kashmir valley is moving fast ahead in augmenting healthcare facilities both in the private and public sectors.
The newly donated Critical Care Ambulance is equipped with Ventilator, Defibrillator, Suction Machine, Infusion Pump, Patient Para Monitor, Autoloader Stretcher, Spine Board, Scoop Stretcher, Wheel Chair, Physician Kit etc.
Dr Niyaz Ahmad Jan, Owner Mubarak Hospital at the occasion thanked the A&H Charitable Trust for pinning their hope on the hospital administration for placing such endeavour in their domain. He said the newly donated Critical Care Ambulance will be stationed in the premises of Mubarak Hospital onwards and any person who needs it in emergency hours can avail it just by dialling 0194-2435527 and 6005226625.
“Our hospital is providing space as well as technical support to the ambulance. It has everything inbuilt which a critical patient needs”, Dr Niyaz said. He said the move is aimed to provide help to patients in critical times as we lack good numbers of CCA’s in the government sector.
