Now without a ticket, entry will not be available in Bagh-e-Bhor near the Jammu airport. The Floriculture Department has put up a ticket to enter the park. Now tourists will have to take a ticket from the counter for entry. To look at the beauty of this park spread over 525 kanals, Rs 24 per person will have to be spent. This will be inclusive of GST of Rs.
There will be a discount for children. However, they will have to spend Rs 10 on the ticket and pay Rs 2 GST. In such a situation, every child will have to pay Rs 12 for entering the park. This is because people are reaching the park from far away.
Work is going on to make the park more beautiful to attract the people. Aromatic plants have been planted here, while other flowers have been produced. A footpath has already been built to move around the park. Swings etc., have been installed to attract the children. The view of the lake there is even better. The music fountain, viewpoint on the lakeside are pleasing to all.
The park has been given greenery. However, in the past, the water of the adjoining drain had climbed into the garden during the rainy season, causing a lot of damage. But now, the administration has put up a giant wall on the drain part of the park. Due to this, now the drain water will not be able to enter the park.
People are happy with the opening of the park to the general public, but at the same time, people also say that at least GST should be waived on tickets. Social worker Kishore Kumar says that a token of Rs 20 is justified. A VAT tax of four rupees should be levied on this so that more and more people can take a look at this park.
