On the day of national Holiday of Deepwali, District Agriculture Officer Kishtwar Dr.Vinay Kumar Jandiyal and other officers and field functionaries of Department of Agriculture and Farmers welfare were busy in delivering their legitimate duty for the welfare of the farming community of District Kishtwar.
District Agriculture Officer Kishtwar Dr.Vinay Kumar Jandiyal along with other Officer/Officials of the department yesterday distributed the farm machinery to different panchayat of District Kishtwar under the supervision of Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar S K Bhagat and under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma.
Pertinent to mention that Department of Agriculture Production and Farmer’s Welfare Kishtwar issued Paddy Thresher and Maize Shellers at Panchayat level to different Panchayats of District Kishtwar on 100% subsidy under CAPEX Budget 2021-22, and handed over it to the respective PRIs of the panchayat.
During the distribution of the Farm Machinery Dr.Jandial
extended his good wishes to Farmers on Deepwali and appealed to farming community to follow Covid-19 SOPs and other guidelines issued by government during the operation of agriculture activities for Rabi 2021-22.
He assured the farmers that he along with other Officer/Officials of the department are available round the clock to help the farming community to achieve the goal of Doubling the farmers income, the dream of our beloved PM of India.
Lorine Kousar Agriculture Extension officer, Kandani thanked the PRIs and other Farmers of District Kishtwar for their cooperation and stressed the farming community to use the modern techniques and technology in agriculture practices.
