A man from Bandipora was killed after being hit by a moving train in Watalpora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said.
A police official told news agency that the person identified as Mohammad Yaqob Dar son of Mohd Shaban, a resident of Shahgund Bandipora district, was hit along Mazhama-Budgam railway station this morning, resulting in his on spot death.
A police team has reached the spot and the body has been taken for the medico-legal formalities, the officer said.
