On 13 Jun 2022, Indian Army has always been a front runner in providing a helping hand to any public initiative and community service. Continuing this tradition, Uplona Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles/ Headquarters Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo) organised a special healthcare camp in association alongwith Medical authorities of district Baramulla at Govt Higher Secondary School.
The camp was inaugurated by the Sarpanch of village Naugam Kandi, Mr Ghulam Ahmad Chaupan. The main aim of the camp was to provide medical assistance to people living in the remote areas of the Kandi belt. The camp included free Gynaecologist advice, Paediatrician consultation, Medical specialist care and general medical advice.

. Renowned civil doctors namely Dr Balwindar Singh (General Physician), Dr Gh Qadir (Pediatrics) & Dr Fozia Bint Farooq (GYNEA) along with Regimental Medical Officer and volunteers from Medical block Baramulla conducted the said camp followed by distribution of medicines to patients.

The medical camp was attended by 150 patients

who were assessed, advised and counselled. A large number of people who were part of the camp included ladies and geriatric population who were having basic medical issues.
The local population was extremely happy and appreciated the efforts of the Sultanpur Kandi Army in organizing the special Healthcare Camp.
