A 55-year-old woman was killed after hit by a moving train in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Friday.
Identifying the victim as Fehmeeda Begum, wife of Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Wapora Panzath in Qazigund, the officials told news agency that the woman as per her family was mentally unsound. The body was shifted from the site of accident to a nearby health facility for post-mortem, they further said.
Meanwhile a police official has also confirmed the incident to news agency.
