Amid a row over Vivek Agnihotri-directorial, ‘The Kashmir Files’, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah has said that an honest investigation should be held to find out the culprits and why such an incident took place.

Every film portrays the story in a unique way. It is important that the film portrays exact truth,” the National Conference (NC) chief said.
“If you really want it to be investigated, then launch a probe. An honest investigation will help identify the culprits and the reason why such an incident took place,” Abdullah added.Released last week, “The Kashmir Files” stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.
The film has been written by Agnihotri and produced by Zee Studios. Most of the BJP-ruled states including Uttar Pradesh have declared the film tax-free.
