On 15 Mar 22 A seminar on “Post Geelani Era, Way Ahead For Soporeans Towards Development And Bonhomie Of Rich Culture ” was organized at Dak Bungalow, Sopore by Sopore Rashtriya Rifles. Mr Bhupinder Kumar, Deputy Commissoner Baramulla and Sudhanshu Verma, SP Sopore were in presence during the course of conduct. The aim of the seminar was to instill the knowledge about rich culture of Sopore and to inculcate the spirit of cohesiveness, thus ensuring young and dynamic youth of the town contributing towards a concentrated effort to preserve the cultural, educational, aesthetic and economic legacies.
Post Geelani era, the era that was once dominated by separatists, the rich heritage and culture that Sopore is blessed with, this seminar served as a platform for awakening the mindfulness and interest of youth on cultural heritage in a friendly and interactive way. A total of 68 youths participated in the seminar along with Nine guest speakers The speakers included Mr Rayees Kuloo, Mr Javed Bhat, Mr Haji Ashraf, Mr Raquib ul Rashid, Mr Furqan Kanwar, Miss Sadiya,Miss Qurat,Mr Younis Naikoo who shared thoughts and vision on the rich culture that Sopore owns.
The locals were very appreciative of the efforts of the Indian Army for creating awareness and providing youth a platform for putting their points and view across.
