DC Doda directs SDM Thathri to organise a mega awareness camp for 100% coverage of unemployed youth under Self employment schemes, Says convenience to the general public during service delivery is the top priority of the district administration

As a part of the ongoing Good Governance week 2021, celebrations the DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal and Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today hold the grievance redressal camp at Chirala Block of sub division Thathri.
During the camp various issue were raised by the local representatives which includes fulfilling of vaccancies in education institutions, execution of quality work on Chirala road, improvement in network facility, payment of land compensation, MGNREGA liability, to start functioning of sanctioned bank branch, creation of police post, Start of RTC bus service, Ambulance facility, shifting of wires from wooden poles, functioning of solar panels, highlighting the local toursit places on the tourism map, besides various other important public issues were raised during the program for which the DDC Chairman and DC Doda paid patient hearing and issues various onspot directions to the concerned authorities.
At the outset speaking on the occasion the DDC Chairman Doda urged all the locals to take maximum benefits out of the schemes intiated for their individual well being, besides asked them to collectively resolve their issues with PRI members and Officials for the speed up in development process of their respective areas.
He has also asked the public to submit the proposals of roads so that they shall be covered under NABARD scheme and shall make dedicated efforts to get them sanction for the convenience of the general public.
With regard to the issue of non quality work being done on the Chirala road the DC says that ADC level enquiry will be initiated, besides with regard to non availability of staff in TSO Office the DC directed the concerned TSO to sit at Chirala on every Thursday so that people may not suffer unnecessarily.
Regarding poor network facility in the area the DC directed the SDM to take up the matter with the Jio and other networking groups to ensure improvement in the network for better communication, besides asked the SDM to take the matter with the concerned bank authorities to verify the reasons for not starting the branch which is already sanctioned for the area.
In addition to this regarding payment of material liability under MGNREGA the DC directed the SDM to co-ordinate with the verification Committee and to submit the report to the DC office by or before the end of this month so that same shall be sent to the concerned authorities for time bound redressal, besides for the non functioning of the solar panels installed the DC have asked the SDM to take up the matter with the implementing agency so that the solar panel system shall be put into use for the convenience of the general public.
While addressing to the general public the DC informed the public about the ongoing Good Governance week and its focus areas and passed strict directions to all the heads of line departments to ensure the high standards of public service delivery system during this week and also in future.
The DC has directed the SDM to organise a mega camp at the central location in the next 15 days in which all the un employed youth shall be covered under Self employment schemes under “Berozgar Se Swarozgar” program, besides directed them to ensure 100% saturation in Adhaar card making, enrollment in Ayushmann Bharat besides in other individual benefit schemes.
Among others present during the program are DDC member Chirala, SDM Thathri, ACD Doda, AC Panchayat, CAO, CHO, CAHO, DSWO, CMO Doda, Tehsildar Chirala, BDO Chirala, BDO Thathri, Ex En REW, Ex En PMGSY, besides other officers and local representatives of the area.
