Star wrestler Bajrang Punia is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Punia on Monday announced that he will be taking a break from all social media platforms till the games are over to focus on his preparations for the global event.
Punia will be one of India’s brightest medal hopes at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. He will be spearheading India’s challenge in men’s wrestling having secured his qualification for the Tokyo showpiece event by earning a quota at the 2019 World Championships. Punia sought support from his fans as he announced his decision.
“Mein apne sabhi social media handles ko aaj se band kar raha hu. Ab Olympic ke baad aap sabhi se mulaakaat hogi … ummeed karta hu aap apna pyaar banaye rakhenge ….. jai Hind ( I am leaving all social media platforms from today. I will meet you all after the Olympics, I hope you will keep supporting me),” Punia wrote in a tweet.
